UPG LFP12180 18Ah LiFePO4 Battery
The UPG LB12180 (UPG 48044) uses LiFePO4 chemistry. This Lithium Iron Phosphate battery is approved for transport by air and ground. The UPG LB12180 features a robust design that tolerates deep discharge and is suitable for all critical applications. This battery is suitable for as a drop-in replacement for VRLA and SLA batteries, and can use the same charger, provided that the voltage is limited to 14.6 VDC. Because this battery is a LFP battery, it tolerates deeper discharge cycles compared to a traditional Lead Acid battery. The UPG LB12180 has a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) that contains a Low Voltage Disconnect and a High Current Disconnect that are active on discharge. The BMS also has a cell balancing circuit that is active on charge.
