David Ramos is the Fulfillment Operations Manager of SunWize Power & Battery, providing highly experienced operations leadership to resolve complex business challenges. David has extensive leadership, business and technology expertise in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, procurement, merchandising and logistics.
SunWize Power & Battery develops pre-engineered and custom battery-based power systems, including complete off-grid solar systems for remote site power, grid-tied solutions and solar hybrid systems which can include generators, fuel cells, or wind turbines for micro-grids or as secondary energy sources. As you can imagine, supplying a complete system to a remote location makes it extra important that the order has all the information and every component required. I make sure that our processes are thoroughly kept, and our staff carries the highest level of responsibility for each and every piece shipped from our warehouses.
A Closer Look
David’s passion for his local community runs deep. His volunteer work for the local churches and youth soccer organization are things he holds dear. David continuously turns life’s tragedies and obstacles into motivation in an effort to inspire others. Due to the loss of his parents and a close childhood friend, David actively advocates for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society.
David enjoys all that the history-rich Hudson Valley has to offer. Places such as George Washington’s Revolutionary War headquarters (1782-83), The Brotherhood Winery (America’s oldest winery), Franklin D. Roosevelt presidential library & museum, Knox Headquarters, Lyndhurst Castle and the Vanderbilt Mansion. David also enjoys hiking, basketball, soccer and football with his two children Scott and David Jr.
David is a graduate of SUNY Orange earning an AAS in Computer Information Systems. David served as an ERP Coordinator for SunWize Technologies and is a Dynamics AX super user.
While working for reality television show, American Chopper (Orange County Choppers), David learned the true meaning of “working under pressure to meet deadlines” which, in return, helped him grow into a distribution & logistics expert.
