Morningstar SS-MPPT-15L Charge Controller

Morningstar’s SunSaver MPPT solar controller with TrakStar Technology™ is an advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) battery charger for off-grid photovoltaic (PV) systems. The SS-MPPT-15L maximizes the energy harvest from the PV by using a smart tracking algorithm. It also provides load control to prevent over-discharge of the battery.  Another great feature is its charging process. The optimized process means long battery life and improved system performance. For this reason, our customers trust the SS-MPPT-15L for critical loads. This product is epoxy encapsulated. You can adjust the controller by four settings switches. You can also do this by connecting to a personal computer. The SunSaver also has an optional remote meter and battery temperature sensor.

The SunSaver MPPT is now UL/CSA Class 1 Division 2 (C1D2), ATEX/IECex Ex IIC certified for use in Hazardous Location (HazLoc) zones.
