SunWize® DC UPS and Battery Backup Systems
Converts AC power to 12 or 24 VDC

The SunWize® DC Power Supply provides continuous DC power with battery backup from an AC source for applications such as microwave repeaters, small cell sites, RTU and SCADA. These fully-integrated, weatherproof units convert AC primary power to charge a 12 or 24VDC sealed battery bank while powering the DC load. Upon loss of AC primary power, the battery powers the DC load(s) with “zero transfer time” since the loads are connected to the battery bank 100% of the time. Various battery sizes are available to provide increased backup capability and improved filtering of the charger output.

All SunWize DC Power Supply systems include the following features:
• Multi-stage, unfiltered battery charger, maintenance-free deep-cycle batteries, AC and DC circuit protection, user’s manual, and full wiring schematics for quick installation • One year system warranty

Model BCS
The Model BCS features an industrial-quality SCR-based rectifier with temperature-compensated 3-stage charging. The robust, UL listed charger provides precision voltage
regulation from -20°C to +60°C, is protected against lightning and voltage transients, and is covered by a 3-year warranty. The system is housed in a weatherproof 30” x 27” white powder-coated aluminum enclosure with passive filtered venting, a universal key lock, and tamper-proof hardware suitable for pole, wall or optional tower mounting. System includes digital meter display, status LEDs, and form C alarm contacts for AC fault, low battery voltage, charger failure and battery fault.

Model BCX
The Model BCX features a switch-mode charger with temperature-compensated 3-stage charging. The standard system includes a weatherproof 32” x 16” white powder-coated aluminum enclosure with passive filtered venting, a universal key lock, and tamper-proof hardware suitable for pole, wall or optional tower mounting. System includes digital meter display, status LED, and AC fault alarm contact. The UL listed charger is covered by a 2-year warranty.

Model BCE
The Model BCE is an economy system designed for indoor applications featuring a switch-mode charger for float charging, with a manual bulk charge setting. The system is housed in a 21” x 16” aluminum screw-cover enclosure with hardware suitable for pole, wall or optional tower mounting. Options include a premium powder-coated white aluminum enclosure, a loss of AC alarm contact, and automatic 3-stage charging. The UL listed charger is covered by a 2-year warranty.
