Power for Gas Flow Meters
Challenge
An integrator, working with their parent company that manufactures meters for gas flow, needed a way to power equipment in remote sites. They were restricted to locations where power was available for existing equipment which also limited their reach.
Solution
SunWize® Custom Engineered Modules, 1.6 watt and 5.2 watt.
SunWize provides custom engineered solar modules that are integrated
into battery operated equipment. The manufacturing process produces a solar
module matching the product’s power requirements and the OEM can specify shape
and size. The proprietary urethane encapsulation method is extremely durable,
providing superior weather and impact resistance.
When tested to the customer’s rigorous standards, SunWize was the only vendor
whose modules did not exhibit delamination or yellowing with age. Our custom
module enables our customer to offer a unique new product and to maintain
timely deliveries.
