Soligent and SunWize to Combine to Form Largest Provider of Solar Distribution and Dealer Services in the U.S.

The combined company, which will be called Soligent Distribution, will be the largest solar equipment distributor in the Americas, serving over 4,000 solar installers, energy efficiency firms, electrical contractors and roofing companies. With an estimated annual revenue of hundreds of millions of dollars, Soligent will be able to provide its customers with a broader array of product offerings as well as a growing portfolio of advanced services like project financing, materials management, permitting, project installation and cloud-based applications to help solar dealers and installers drive out soft costs and enhance their competitiveness.

Has the process changed for placing orders?

Current SunWize customers will still be able to place orders online or by calling Soligent. Your sales representative will be reaching out shortly, but in the meantime please feel free to call 1-800-967-6917 to be connected to your rep. SunWize customers will ultimately need to fill out the Soligent Dealer Application to place orders through Soligent.

Will my SunWize Connect login still work?

You will still be able to place orders online with your SunWize Connect login. However, there will be some limitations. You will not be able to utilize credit cards to pay for your order and the inventory availability shown may not be accurate. You will be able to access historical order information. Your sales representative will be reaching out shortly, but in the meantime please feel free to call 1-800-967-6917 to contact your rep who can assist you with any questions or provide any necessary support.

What do I need to do to become a Soligent dealer? How do I get access to the Soligent Dealer Portal?

All SunWize customers will need to fill out the Soligent Dealer Application, and an optional Credit Application. Once we process the Dealer Application, we'll be in touch with your Dealer Portal login information, and you can begin placing orders online.

Will my orders ship out on time during this transition?

While we transition, we are doing our best to ensure that logistics are minimally disrupted. We anticipate that orders will begin shipping from Soligent as of Thursday, March 27th.

How will outstanding balances with SunWize be handled?

Please pay your outstanding balances on SunWize invoices to Soligent Distribution per the original invoices' due dates, and amounts. Please do not pay these to SunWize. Please remit your payments as follows:

How will credit matters be handled?

Soligent's credit department will be handling all credit matters with your account for orders from today forward and will work with you to establish credit with Soligent.

How will open orders be processed?

SunWize inventory has been transitioned to Soligent along with your open orders. When possible, Soligent will fulfill and invoice those orders at your original pricing.

How will SunWize RMA's be processed?

Returned material requests related to shipments from SunWize should be dealt with by contacting Jim Stevenson at jstevenson@sunwize.com.

In what states does Soligent charge sales tax?

Soligent currently charges sales tax in the following states:

  • Arizona
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Georgia
  • Hawaii
  • Minnesota
  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • Texas
  • Nevada
  • New York - beginning 4/1/2014

If you have a tax exemption certificate in a certain state, taxes may not apply. Your exemption certificate from SunWize will be on file with Soligent, but will need to be updated with Soligent's name within 30 days to remain active. Orders will be charged sales tax if they are not updated within 30 days.
